Description: A collapsed stone river wall at Sudden Brook led to this commercial plot becoming an unusable and unsafe site. DTM Groundworks Ltd were employed to first of all remove the remnants of the 100-plus year old original wall and make the site safe. A cofferdam was then created to form a dry work area to enable a new concrete foundation to be installed below the water level. DTM Groundworks Ltd then constructed a new interlocking concrete block retaining wall. The difference in levels between the river and site meant this new retaining wall had to be 5.5m high. The installation of a Tensar geogrid tied the new concrete ‘Lego’ block style wall into the 6F2 stone backfill material. A new powder coated 868 mesh fence was installed to the top of the new river wall on completion. This represented a challenging project carried out in a live river. The site was up and running within a matter of weeks. Photos can be seen to the right.

Description: Various works carried out including new external reinforced concrete slabs, new staff car park with channel drainage, reclaimed tarmacadam surfacing, new perimeter fencing and used railway sleepers to segregate fire escape routes.

Description: New service facility and car parking on a compact town centre site. The works include remedial works to the site comprising on the excavation and disposal of existing cellars and temporary sheet piling works.

Description: New car park and road infrastructure works. Includes kerbing, block paving, precast concrete flagging and landscaping.
Dreams, Croft Retail Park, Bromborough

Description: This project was undertaken within a busy retail environment and involved major drainage diversion works prior to commencement of the foundations. New service yards, car parking spaces, block paving and street furniture (including bike stands, bollards and trolley bays) will also be undertaken.

Description: This project involved the installation of underground services for the water, power, CCTV and lighting systems along with the drainage system complete with oil bypass separator. Kerbing, concrete hardstandings and fencing works complete the project.

Description: Large-scale town centre re-development comprising of foundations, floor slabs, services installations and extensive drainage works which include several underground storage chambers. The majority of the work is in ground already occupied by numerous existing service installations.
