Description: New dining extension to a grammar school. Very restricted access carried out during term time. Piled foundations with pile cropping, reinforced steel pad and ground beam works. A suspended metal deck in-situ concrete first floor was also part of the works.

Description: New sports hall. Large civil engineering project comprising topsoil strip, reduced level excavation, foundations, drainage and construction of a 6 metre high reinforced concrete retaining wall complete with Sika tanking / waterproofing system, all installed by DTM Groundworks Ltd.
IQRA, Bradford
Client: Castlehouse Construction Ltd
Description: New extension to a community primary and nursery school including foundations, drainage plus hard and soft landscaping work.
Parrenthorn High School, Manchester
Client: B&E Boys Ltd
Description: New extension to existing building including complex piling works up against and existing structure.
Emmanuel Primary School, Holcombe Brook, Bury
Client: B&E Boys Ltd
Description: This project started with bulk excavation works and the demolition of part of the existing school, all of which had to be carried out within the tight confines of the existing school boundaries. The demolition and installation of temporary toilet blocks necessitated the investigation, design and extensive alterations to the existing foul and surface water drainage systems. The creation of a temporary access for teachers, parents and pupils was also required. Foundations and external works form the remainder of the project.

Description: Foundations, floor slabs and extensive drainage works all carried out within an existing school site. Macadam, pre-cast concrete paving and kerbing works will complete the project.
Holcombe Brook Primary School, Bury
Client: B&E Boys Ltd
Description: Main foul drainage connection to existing system in busy main road along with on-site drainage works.
Grammar School, Whalley Range, Manchester
Client: Globe Management Services Ltd
Description: Part new-build and part refurbishment at and existing working Grammar School. In addition to the foundations, drainage and external works the contract involves extensive work in the existing school grounds installing and adapting the existing service installations.
