The work was carried out during working hours whilst the facility was open to the public. Working closely with the team on-site and carrying out the works in sections, protected by safety barriers and road plates minimised both cost and disruption for the client.

Description: DTM Groundworks Ltd carried out reinforced concrete ground beams with permanent formwork and cast-in bolt boxes along with two tanked reinforced concrete lift pits. The project also involved extensive external works with a permeable paving system, stainless-steel bollards and feature stone seating. A new electricity substation and BT ducting were also completed along with foul and surface water drainage systems.

Description: Civil engineering works for a new sprinkler installation. The work comprised of a circular reinforced concrete tank base, reinforced concrete pump house base plus the associated pipework and thrust block installations.

Description: New macadam laydown area including soil strip, bulk excavation, sub-base, kerbing and macadam works.
Totally Wicked, Blackburn
Client: B&E Boys Ltd
Description: New warehouse comprising of a reinforced concrete retaining wall, pad foundations and external works. We installed a Sika tanking system due to the retaining wall acting as the rear wall of the building. The drainage system comprises of Wavin Polystorm cellular storage units, a Klargester petrol interceptor and Section 50 sewer connection for the foul water complete with United Utilities Section 2 approval. The surface water system goes into the River Darwen through an outfall in the river wall.
